Registration starts at 12:30pm Admission is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
The afternoon kicks off at 1:00pm with a very special concert featuring our Guest Artist, Martha Katz. Ms. Katz’s program includes the Brahms Songs for Viola, Alto and Piano (with alto Lorraine Manz) and the Schumann Fairytales for Viola, Clarinet and Piano (with Richard Stoltzman, clarinet). James Howsmon will collaborate on piano. Following the concert, master classes for all ages will be conducted by Martha Katz and other prominent teachers from our chapter. There will also be plenty of time to peruse the exhibits of instruments and more. Get your friends together to try out violas! And of course, refreshments and socializing will be an important item on our schedule! For more information, or to participate in the master classes, please contact our president, Jeff Irvine.
