About the Ohio Viola Society and the
American Viola Society

The OVS is a chapter of the American Viola Society
and strives to provide activities and support for
Violists on a local level by sponsoring concerts,
Master classes and any other kinds of activities its
membership deems appropriate. The AVS is an
association for the promotion of viola performance
and research. Membership is open to all enthusiasts
